The focus of The Fourth Annual All-Ukrainian High-level Forum “Just Transition: Evolution. Recovery and the Future of Carbon-Intensive and Mono-Industrial Communities” will be the future of just transition in Ukraine and scaling up the experience of coal communities to other carbon-intensive regions.
The government has approved the Program of just transition for coal regions, but the question arises: how to ensure its effective implementation and extend the experience to other communities dependent on fossil fuels? The forum will serve as a platform to discuss the future of such communities, their development paths, and integration into the EU climate-neutral economy.
We invite those who will be directly involved in the transition to participate and engage in discussion: representatives of communities, national authorities, civil society, and other interested parties.
