On the 24th of February 2025 Ecoaction published a preliminary assessment of the climate damage caused by Russia’s invasion three years since the full-scale invasion.
In the beginning of October we will publish the full assessment with a detailed description of each impact category. Apart from fully updating the numbers for three years, the report will contain:
- Full application of the Guidance on the assessment of conflict-related GHG emissions
- Detailed assessment of rerouting of flights
- A new approach to estimate emissions from fires in buildings.
- A consistent time series for each 12-month period was calculated
